Poetry Project:
Project Description:
In this project we learned a lot about poetry and we learned all about the different types of formats and how to create a poem using rhymes and meters. We learned how to put passion into our poems. I decided to write about what makes me happy and how what i feel while I'm doing the thing that makes me happy. We then had to present our poem to the public. I was not a big fan of this project because I feel as if I'm not that great at poetry so i struggled to come up with what I was gonna write about.

Project Description
In this project we are given a state to research about. We are also given a world problem that needs to be fixed. So we research our states point of view on the world problem. We are to write a resoultion that explains our states point of view on the world problem. After that we share it with the chosen Chairs and they will pick the 4 best writen ones. The next day we read the chosen resolution and decide with one we like the most and write a speech about it trying to convince every one else to vote for it. After that we have a conference and read all our speeches and the vote to see which resolution wins.
Project Reflection
1. What are you most proud of about this conference?
There is lot of stuff I am proud of in this project because of the little time I had to finish it but I am most proud of my speech because I put a lot of time into it and it turned out great. For example at first it was only 1 minute long but then I went home and worked on it a lot more and it turning into a 2 minute speech. I am proud of this because I did not have very much time to work on it but I still persevered and finished it on time.
2. What did you connect with most in this project, and how did that affect your conference performance?
I connected the most with the research because when i was at home I studied it a lot and looked deeper and deeper into this project. For example the Palestinians were only kicked out because of over population and Britain had control of that area at the time. I would say that all the research affected my conference performance in a good way because I understood what every one was talking about.
3. What was the most important thing you learned in this project? Why?
The most important thing i learned in this project would be perspective. There were a lot of different points of view with this project. Some people thought we needed an over pass, others thought we needed a wall or 2 state solution. This is the most important thing to me because in every situation there are always 2 sides or more to something and this project kinda showed me that.

Reflections Questions
1. What has been most challenging about this project? Why?
What i thought was most challenging about this project was the speech because i had very little time to work on it and i had to change it during the seminar because someone would change something in their resolution.
2. What challenges have you over come? Why?
In the beginning i had a lot of trouble trying to figure out what i had to write and what about. I think i didn't understand what to write because i wasn't sure if it was my point of view or my countries.
3. What are you most proud if at this point? Why?
At this point i am most proud of my speech and how it turned out when i said it.
4. Analyze and explain what the following quote means to you: "Complacency is where genius goes to die"
This means that when a genius puts a lot of work into something and finds an answer that he doesn't like, so he gets bummbed.

Seminar Reflection
During the seminar, one of my class mates brought up how throughout the book "Mexican Whiteboy" Danny was just trying to find him self. Like who he is, whats he supposed to do. So pretty much he has been asking him self "Who am i?" That made me think. Who am i? What am i supposed to do in the future and i couldn't come up with anything but my name is Samuel Tanner Reeve. This question also made me think of a book i read a while ago called "Game of Thrones" in this book a little girl named Arya was trying to find herself. She didn't want to be a princess or a lady or anything like that. In the seminar i thought i did fairly well. I could of maybe talked a little more and ask people if they wanted to talk about a certain topic. But over all i thought i did good. "Accept what you cannot change, change what you cannot accept" I like this quote a lot because it says that when you can't do anything about something accept it but you can also change other things you don't accept.
Socialization and Identity Project
Socialization Project Refection Questions
1.Mask: What are you most proud of about your mask? Why? On my mask,I am most proud of the quotes i put on my Mask because the quotes are written on his face like they have been there forever and like they have can't go away.
2.Quote: Quote the section of your essay that you are most proud of and describe, in detail, why you are proud of it. I am most proud of my Thesis statement. "Society and media had a huge impact on my life ever since I was born, it’s been showing me how i’m supposed to act and who I’m supposed to be, witch genders better, a man, straight, not to cry, to be dominant, and not to have feelings, but really is that what a man is?" I am most proud of my thesis statement because it states most of the stereotypes men are told and questions if that really is what a man is.
3.Biggest Take-away: What will you remember from this project? Why? What i will take away from this project is how if you not socialized everything would be different. We watched this short film called "Genie" it was about a girl that was locked in a room for 13 because he father though she was mentally ill. When she was finally rescued, she didn't know how to walk and talk and she acted like a scared animal. So what i will remember from this project is how much socialization is important to us as humans.
4.Growth: What message or concept from this project do you want to share with your community? How could you share this knowledge? The message I would like to share with the community is that stereotypes don't define who you are, so you should never listen to them. Stereotypes are really just rumors and options that cause harm and intercity.
